Peak rate ($0.3412/kWh) applies Monday to Friday, 7am–11pm. This period covers the highest demand times on the network, when generation and distribution costs are greatest.
Off-peak rate ($0.1287/kWh) applies overnight (11pm–7am daily) and all day on weekends and public holidays — roughly 62% cheaper than peak. Scheduling appliances like dishwashers, washing machines, pool pumps, and EV chargers to run during off-peak hours can reduce your bill by 15–25% without changing how much energy you consume overall.
