Usage Alerts notify you when your consumption crosses a threshold you define — either in kilowatt-hours (kWh) or dollars ($). This is especially useful if you want to stay within a monthly budget or catch unusual consumption caused by a faulty appliance or system.
To set up an alert, go to the Usage page, scroll to Alert Setup, and enter your threshold value and unit. You can also set a billing cycle reset date so the alert counter resets each month.
Alerts are sent via whichever notification channels you have enabled on your Account page (Email, SMS, or Push). You can set up multiple alerts at different thresholds — for example, a warning at $150 and a critical alert at $200.
